This restaurant was pretty accommodating, we were able to get a table for 10 instead.

Veronica, I was on the waiting it's but won't be coming. Once the list opened up I called the restaurant to see if it's wheelchair accessible and it isn't. Thanks for organizing though.

Hi, I am new to Meet UP's, but I don't really like this wait list, and I am sure there is a reason for it. I had signed up on a waiting list for one for Sunday, but I don't like playing this waiting game and then I make other plans for that day just in case. Your rules say you penalize for "no shows." With my work schedule I have to plan ahead. I guess if a waiting list pops up, I just won't plan to go, but I wasn't sure if anyone else felt like this or I am just not understanding everything yet.

Yes, you'all find people unRSVP at the last minute if they have to work late or something else comes up. The wait listed people are added in the order they RSVP'd. You should not wait to RSVP when there is a limited # of spaces. Hope that helps! Pat

My only two choices was "yes" and "waiting List." I did not have a choice to RSVP by the initial request. I am not trying to be hard nosed here. I just wasn't sure. On one of the comments if I do make a reservation on my own and I drive all the way from Newton, NC, to sit by myself, that might not be what I would want. I appreciate everyone's feedback. This is new for me, so knowing everything is helpful and everyone's feedback.

To the "wait list": what about one of you making a reservation for a table the same time and join the first group? All it takes is a phone call to the restaurant.

How much does this even cost? Is there a fixed price or is it a la carte ordering at the restaurant? Thank you.

    • Veronica

Fat fingers... The price is $30 for the set menu during Restaurant Week. Great way to try out new restaurants in town.
