Born in Tampa, Florida but San Diego & Southern California are my adopted home (having lived there 16 years and still ahve family there) I go back as often as possible. at least once a year.
Brio's and Momma Ricotta's are consistently good and reasonable. For rare occasions, Ruth Chris is hard to beat when it comes to steaks.
For breakfast, Zabar's in Manhattan is supreme for bagels, coffee and things from the sea. Pardo's Chicken in Lima Peru leaves a taste in your mouth that is addictive. Cotixan Mexican in San Diego is the real deal for Mexican and Point Loma Sea Foods, in San Diego is the freshest seafood available on the planet.
I love Asian fusion and Latin fusion as well. Italian is always welcome and Middle Eastern has aromas and fragrances that are also addictive.
A long time Charlotte resident but still (and always will) call San Diego home. Enjoy entertaining with foods and wines from all countries. I am a single dad looking to share the enjoyment of food and good times with others.
This group headed by 'Richard' is perhaps the most active of all 'Meet Up' Groups in our area. They have more available events than possible to attend. Yeah!
