Your Sushi Guide-Richard Gruica[masked]

Do you love good sushi and ever wonder how they make the fabulous treats that have our taste buds hooked and us begging for more?

Announcing one of the meetups that I am most looking forward to: Sushi 101 - Including what it is, how to make it, and how to eat it!

Are you confused when you go into a Sushi place? Do you know how it is made and what to order? Sushi comes in many forms and doesn't have to be raw. It can contain cooked ingredients and can also be vegetarian. Sushi can also be in many forms and some popular ones are Nigiri, Temaki, Maki. Sashimi isn't really sushi, per se, but can be found on the Sushi menu.

This class will not only teach you how to make maki (rolls) but it will give you a little insight on sushi in general. This class will be taught by the sushi chef at Coral Sushi-one of our favorites!

1-4 pm

Class cost is $35 and will include:

Demonstration on how to make Maki (Sushi Rolls) by a professional Sushi Chef

Information on Sushi in general and the different types

Your own bamboo rolling mat that you can take home and make maki for your friends

A recipe for how to make your own Sushi Rice

A rice paddle for you to spread the rice onto the nori

...and as an added and delicious bonus - we get to eat all of the sushi that we make! (Yum!)

Come join us for an afternoon of information, demonstration, and fabulation (not really a word but once you try the sushi that we make in the class, you will understand)!
