The Bella Italia Lodge 2808-Columbia hosts this event each year to increase awareness of the local Italian community - its heritage and culture. Taking place in the heart of downtown Columbia, visitors enjoy a day of free entertainment, great Italian foods and refreshments, dancing, a display of classic Italian autos, an Italian market, and much more!
Feeling competitive? Get a partner and enter our Bocce Tournament. Bocce, an old world game similar to lawn bowling, is fun, easy to learn, and enjoyed by both men and women. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three winning teams. Teams can sign in on site or call in advance to reserve a spot - entries are limited. Click here for more info on the tournament or contact Bryan Kerouac, [masked] by e-mail or Adrian Falgione at [masked] to sign-up.
Want to help out and be a part of the festival? Sponsorships are available that can highlight your business and show your support for our community. The Italian Festival has grown in popularity and size since the first one held in 2008 and attracts thousands of visitors for the event. Click to download the Sponsorship Brochure & Form. With your contribution, our lodge goal to "serve and give back to the community" can be achieved and this year's festival will be the best ever!
In addition to celebrating all things Italian, our festival raises funds for various charities throughout Columbia. Our lodge has contributed to Harvest Hope Food Bank, The Oliver Gospel Mission, Christ Central Mission; paid for Veterans Memorial trips to Washington, DC; and assisted various other humanitarian efforts around the region. A portion of our proceeds is also earmarked to provide college scholarships to worthy students in the Midlands.
Tickets are required for purchase of food, beverages, festival merchandise and some events. Ticket sales are available on site. Purchases from retail vendors selling merchandise are cash basis. Click here for more information on reserving vendor space.
Mark you calendar and come enjoy the day at this year's Italian Festival!
