Free Beer to Gear Up for 4th of July!

DC UNITED TICKET GIVEAWAY!!

We're having a hard time coming up with anything better than gearing up for 4th of July weekend with the chance to taste DC Brau's The Public, The Corruption, The Tradition and El Hefe Speaks (Limited Release)! AND have the chance win DC United tickets just for being in attendance.

We know that RFK Stadium isn't exactly Brazil (by a long shot)...but still - who could pass this opportunity up?! Come try your luck and see if you get to cheer on the team from the stands...for free!! And even if the tickets don't end up in your pocket at least the beer will end up in your belly!

The Public: The Public™ Pale Ale is brewed in the classic American Pale Ale style. Assertive bitterness backed by C-60 and Vienna malts which lend notes of rich, yet semi-dry caramel. Then followed up with a nice white grapefruit and citrus aroma that begs for a follow up sip. "The Public" is DC Brau's most popular offering and continues to be a sought after staple by imbibers and ale hounds in the Nations Capitol. The Tradition: An ale, The Tradition is a limited-release D.C. United specific beer - the only one of its kind in the DC sports world. "The unifying factor between D.C. United and DC Brau is the same element that connects both of us to our fans," said DC Brau CEO Brandon Skall. "Pride: Pride in what we produce, pride in our city and pride in ourselves!"

EL HEFE SPEAKS! (Limited Release Hefeweizen): EL HEFE SPEAKS! is a collaboration with John Solomon and Chris Frashier. The pair are well known for their fine (and tasty!) work at Old Dominion in Ashburn, VA, during the mid 90's. EL HEFE SPEAKS! is a traditionally brewed German-style Hefe. It is fermented around 65°F and hopped with German Tettnang hops. 11 IBUs and 5.3% ABV make this one extremely drinkable. The beer was brewed at DC Brau in early August. “El Hefe Speaks” uses the Weihenstephaner yeast strain, a classic, popular German wheat beer strain used worldwide. If you think it speaks to you as well, definitely join us to check it out... because it will be gone before you can say "sweater weather".

The Corruption:

The Corruption™ IPA is DC Brau's take on a Pacific Northwest IPA. Brewed with Pale 2 row, C-10, Honey and Victory malts. Exclusively hopped with 40 lbs of Columbus hops per brew to ring in at 80 International Bitter Units (IBU). "The Corruption" comes in at 6.5% ABV. This beer straddle's the line between IPA and Imperial IPA and has a supportive malty backbone with an assertive hop presence that smacks your mouth with a dank, resinous bitterness followed by pleasant aroma's of pine sap and burnt spruce.

Our complimentary tastings are set up in a way that allows our guests to arrive at any point during the time period. The tastings are meant to be a fun, social, educational & tasty experience!

We are located 1 block from the Jennifer St. exit at the FRIENDSHIP HEIGHTS metro station. We have ON SITE parking (space is limited). If you are driving and are unable to obtain a spot in our garage the parking on side streets is free and has a 2 hour time limit until 7 PM (no limit after 7). You may also park in the bank parking lot across the street AFTER 6 PM!! Please let us know if you have any questions!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
