I've been hearing the buzz about Union Market and now I find out that Trucktoberfest will be held there. 20+ vendors AND 40+ food trucks... let's go for lunch!
We can meet at Buffalo & Bergen; they may or may not be open but the counter is there on the 5th street side of the market. The more people we have, the more opportunities to split stuff so we can try more things or at least compare notes. I was thinking of having a beverage, some food truck lunch and then a walk around the market. Here are some details:

Public Parking - Ample free parking available in the lot in front of the market or on the street.
Metro Access - Take the Red Line to the NoMA-Gallaudet U stop. Turn right on Florida Avenue NE. Turn Left on 6th Street NE. The Market will be on your left.
Bus Access - The market is accessible by the U St-Garfield Metrobus lines (90, 92 and 93). Bus stops are located on the north and south side of the 400 block of Florida Avenue NE with service to Adams Morgan going west and Anacostia heading south.
Capital Bikeshare - Closest station is located on Gallaudet University’s campus at 8th Street NE and Florida Avenue.
