Running the Rock and Roll Marathon/Half?

Is anyone else running the marathon/half marathon next weekend? I would love to get together a group of us to go to the expo on the 16th and then meet up at the run. I am sure we will all have much different paces but it would be great to cheer each other on and carpool.

I'm running the 1/2 still. I would love to meet up for the expo. I plan to take the light rail in from Mesa to the start but I'm not sure yet. Also, there are a few meet-up groups that are meeting for the concert after the race as well.

Very cool - I will be taking the light rail as well. Maybe we can meet at the park & ride. Are you planning to get on at the 101 Park & Ride?

yes, that is where I was planning to get on. Just not sure as to the time yet, thinking 6:30 a.m. but your running the full right? We may need to leave earlier if your running the full. Just let me know, I don't mind being early to hit the potties and check a bag in.

I remembered that I'm heading downtown Saturday afternoon to take my daughter to disney on ice at 2 p.m. If you'd like to still carpool (or ride the lightrail) to the expo in the morning or mid-morning let me know. Amanda. |

The morning would be great. I am dropping my husband at the airport at 6:30am. I just noticed that Ali Vincent from Biggest Loser is going to be at the Mesa Hi-Health that day at noon so I might try and stop by. After that I am going to try and make the Sewing at Sally's meetup at 2pm.
Being at the expo from 9 to 11 would work best for me. I'll give you a call. Anyone else running and interested in joining us? |
