Introduction

Hi. Im Aubrey. Been living in the DC area for almost 3 yrs & am looking to meet new friends. Im a geek & proud of it.

Tell us a little about yourself.

Im a costume technician in thew theatre world. I love to read and have a huge addiction to sci-fi tv and movies. right now I am working my way through the Entir Dr. Who series and Torchwood. I am a history buff who loves anything having to do with Britain, and I love hanging out and meeting new people. Basically I just want to meet some people with common interests that I can be my crazy silly, nerdy self with.

What's your favorite geekdom?

so I ama history buff and a sci-fi fan but my passion is my work and that is making costumes for theatre... so I geek out about how things (specifically clothing) is made and looks...I am like a kid in a candy store when I go fabric shopping. I love Project Runway, and fashion history... dont get me started...I find myself watching period dramas for the clothes as much as the drama...otherwise I grewup in a house hold that was very sci-fi oriented and have embraced it in my adulthood...I am pro Star Wars and Star Trek... we can all live in peace I swear! :-D
