Geek Physique Jo Aikido

Geeks Love Weapons!

Come and learn "The Way of the Warrior"!

The "Jo" is a staff weapon, just over 4 feet long, and was used as a training tool by the Samurai of ancient Japan.  Jo techniques allow one to control and subdue an opponent using non-lethal applications, which is why Japanese police forces train with it today.  Jo work also develops poise, balance flexibility, and self-confidence.

This course, taught by certified Black Belt Instructors from the Shuharikan Dojo (St. Paul MN) will focus on spatial awareness, breathing, basic movements, and striking/thrusting movements, in both individual and paired exercise.  This course is designed for low to moderate impact and no prior weapon or martial art experience is required.

***PLEASE do not RSVP for this class.  If you wish to attend, RSVP to the FIRST class session Scheduled on November 6th.  There is a course fee that must be paid in advance.  You will be contact by the organizer and once funds are paid, you will be automatically RSVP's for this session.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
