We have a G+ group for the anti facebookers or social completists that just must be on ever network, also our G+ hangouts will be run from here : https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/106179663890484097069/106179663890484097069/posts
And lets not forget our twitter @geekpub !
Now for those that missed the first hangout and those i havent had a chance to chat to at the meetups, our next adventure we want to run for you guys and gals and for geeks around the world! is our own youtube show! imaginatively called GeekpubTV! once we go live links will be posted across the social networks but you can subscribe to recieve update now by going to : http://www.youtube.com/geekpubtv We will definitely be after feedback and we want to know what you want to see, and we have a good selection of things planned. The format were aiming for will be short 10 to 15 min videos unless youtube is nice to us and lets have more time, and will be a chat show kinda feel with George, Matt and Gia hosting. If you have an professional skills you can lend to the project then please get in touch (please note just because you have used final cut pro for 20 mins doesnt make you pro)
We want to say a big thanks for those that turned up to the last Geekpub, alot of awesomely geeky shirts were worn and loved by the whole group! We even had a special guest appearance of a miniaturised Goku!
Our next event will be another New Member day @ Namco to which i hope alot of you can make it to! with over 560 people in the group im sure we can FILL Namco to breaking point!
Confirmed events for this year are our regular trips to mcmexpo, eurogamer and the somewhat terrifying 2.8 hours later! if you have an idea you would like to put forward please either set one up or suggest it on the forums! This newsletter will also be copied to the forums for replys.
