Generation Atheist Monthly Meetup

For atheists, age 20's and 30's, in Los Angeles...

See what another atheist looks like (outside of the colloquial closet). Even though it gets quiet on our forum during the month, we do meet up every month. There's usually a wide range between 5 to 20 of us each time. If you can't find us after admitting your atheism to random strangers in looking for our table, try the cell[masked]-1980.

Our organizational plan is pretty basic -- we push some tables together and strike up some conversations. We're not formal, we chat about whatever we want, atheism related or not, as it's more of a meetup than a meeting.

Enjoy!

It's wonderful affirmation to know that many other like minded people exist who share a decent common vision for humanity. Excellent support group for those like myself bound to a physical reality in a perilous quest to understand the role we can play as compassionate people to ensure we as fellow human beings survive far into the future. Thank you Michael for organizing the meeting.

    Accio!

Pfft, a mental health clinic on a sliding scale may very well be cheaper than a meal and a drink at Cat & Fiddle. XP

Come vent, have a drink maybe some fries. It's cheaper then a therapist. Sorry Jen...

  • Jason

ohhhh... and if you happen to hear back from either or both... I know a good therapist. Cash only.

Only kidding, she excepts silver and gold.

The force is strong in this one...
If your gonna pray, pray to Cthulhu or Joe Pesci, please, just don't be disappointed if you don't hear back from either one of them.

My first free-thought meetup. Excited! Nervous! O_O Perhaps I should pray about it?

Gen A worked so hard to bring death to the Christhocracy only to watch it rise again on the 3rd day.

Greetings Sterling Andrews and John Heeter. As Jason mentioned, Cat and Fiddle generally makes a room available to us for the meetings and we eat, drink and talk about what ever is on our mind. Anything from atheism to politics to car racing to a date someone had the night before. See you then!

Ms. Andrews, pardon me for being presumptuous by referring to you as "ms.", we tend to meet under the cover of darkness in the room towards the back to the left of the bathrooms. That way we may plot the overthrow of the Christhocracy away from prying eyes.
I look forward to being regaled by your tales of sorcery.

I've never met anyone in this group, so I'm really looking forward to walking up to random tables and excitedly announcing my Atheism until I find you. I might actually be a little loud & proud about it...
