Come join others who enjoy Geocaching. Savor the refreshments while exchanging travel bugs and caching adventures. Consider bringing a friend to the event who has never gone geocaching. This would be a wonderful opportunity to pack a lunch, and drinks, introduce them to the sport, and then take them on a search for a nearby cache.
There are plenty of caches nearby. Geocaching Web Page
Come and enjoy the beautiful view of Otay Lake and the surrounding hills. The 78-acre park, which is also the proposed eastern gateway/staging area for the Otay Valley Regional Park, has long been a favorite in the South Bay. A playground, horseshoe courts, hiking trails, lawn area, and native plant/demonstration garden are a few of the many reasons to visit Otay Lakes County Park.
Individuals or businesses interested in donating items to be raffled are encouraged to contact me directly. Parking is $3 or you can park nearby for free at the entrance to the park.
Grab your picnic and drinks and come join us on Saturday, April 19th at 10 AM. Please add a note with the number of people joining you so we can coordinate with the Park Rangers.
