I am hugely excited about tackling The Forbidden Forest!  Thanks for organizing this!  I hope it's a great big turnout!  See you Wednesday!

Announcing a new meeting for Geocaching San Diego!

What: The Forbidden Forest (revisited)

When: Wednesday, March 12, 9:00 PM

Where: UCSD Campus -- N32 53.355 W117 14.452

Who should come: Last August, a very successful Meetup was held to find The Forbidden Forest GCME1Z. Although 17 people attended, not everyone could go. Here's a new chance to overcome the darkness and join forces to battle the dangerous forest and terrible spiders!

Why: This cache can only be found after darkness falls. Remember there is safety in numbers! Judging by the previous logs, the hunt can be so thrilling that many do it more than once. Take a look at the pictures from the last hunt to see the fun.

Meeting Description: This cache is on/near UCSD campus grounds.

Like last time, we will park and meet at N32 53.355 W117 14.452 then head to the cache.

Please be sure to read the cache description so you are prepared for what's coming. Bring a flashlight!

As time, desire and survival permit, there are other caches in the area to be had:

Eucalyptus Maze - GC916
Endor - GCXR03
Anna's Birthday Cache - GC8A3E

If this has been on your "must do" list, now the time to get it done. Previous finders of this cache are MORE THAN WELCOME to serve as guides and assist. Folks with no significant fear of large, squishy, squirming, treacherous spiders will be pushed to the head of the group (by me) and will be required to protect those of us who already have the heebie jeebies.

Come and have fun....if you dare....!
