I've always loved studying maps, and in grad school for urban planning I learned how to make them by taking classes in GIS. Now I work for an urban informatics company called Ontodia that just released NYCpedia.com, an encyclopedia of NYC data, much of it geospatial.
I want to get to know the geo community of NYC better.
Urban planner, civic technologist, open data junkie, map geek, grassroots participant, sustainability cheerleader, social justice advocate, data-driven storyteller, transit nerd, lover of cities.
Awesome gathering of really bright geo minds.
