It's bad enough when the state legislatures gerrymander their congressional districts. Imagine congress gerrymandering the states every ten years.

Although...it might make state governments more light weight. Imagine the Gold Dome being redistricted away. "OK, boys, for the 40 days that the legislature is in session, we're taking over the ballroom in the Holiday Inn in Columbus." Staffs would have to be cut. Lobbyist would be setting up in trailer parks down the way.

Wait, maybe I do like this idea.
