We haven't been to Der Braumeister in awhile, and it's always a good time when we go! We are going to start instituting a German-only Stammtisch once a month that Will has agreed to lead. If anyone else wants to help him (preferably native speaker but at least extremely fluent) please let me know. We will discuss what date is best during this meetup. We will also continue to meet once a month and welcome those who don't necessarily speak German at those events. The German-only events will be published in German.
From Cleveland Ethnic Eats:
The 100-seat dining room works as a setting for a drink and a quick, light meal (right!) or a place to linger over a four-course dinner. The menu is a mix of German specialties like Rouladen (filet of beef rolled around a stuffing laced with pickles, onions, and bacon), schnitzel (thin veal cutlet) and Schweinsbraten (braised pork roast). It also has American-style dishes such as prime rib, pan-fried walleye and roast duck. Portions are large and pretty affordable. There is a selection of German sausages and cold cuts for sandwiches and side dishes like pickled cucumber salad and potato dumplings. German beers are on tap, and imported wines are available by the glass or bottle. Easy to find with convenient parking on the well-lit side street and in the rear.
Hope you can make it!
