Instead of meeting at Der Braumeister I seem to remember as being Das Schnitzel Haus really good too. I can't believe it's been two and a half years since we've met here...
Open for lunch & dinner seven days a week, Das Schnitzel Haus offers European-inspired New American cuisine featuring the finest seasonal ingredients. They have a Sunday brunch and a lunch buffet Monday-Friday from 11 am to 2 pm for anyone who is interested.
From Cleveland Ethnic Eats:
"The food here is the absolute opposite of trendy. No experimenting with ingredients from other cultures. No garnishing with microgreens. ... Daily specials like stuffed pork loin, sauerbraten, beef rouladen, and veal Holstein served with a fried egg expand the options. The bratwurst and knockwurst pair up perfectly with the many German beers, and the sides of sauerkraut, tangy red cabbage, and spaetzel turn every meal into a hearty one. Strudels and tortes say dessert in Deutsche [sic] and the wine list is mostly German. ... In an effort to please everybody, the kitchen also turns out pasta dishes, burgers, salads, sandwiches and wraps, meatloaf and strip steak and Friday fish dinners."
I hope to see you there!
