The second of a three film offering in January by the Goethe Institut that features Hanna Schygulla, "Eine Liebe in Deutschland" (A Love in Germany) is a 1983 feature film directed by the award winning Polish director Andrzej Wajda.
The film, based on the novel by Rolf Hochhuth, is set in 1983 when a man and his son travel to a small German town to discover the truth about the man's mother committing adultery with a prisoner of war in a small German town while her husband served as a soldier during World War II.
