Great, as always. Would recommend to anyone trying, like me, to keep up their spoken German in a really nice environment.

I have booked 2 tables in the beer garden but if it's raining, we will be probably sitting upstairs in the function room. If this is your first time, you must read the directions above, perhaps print them, store my number and call me if you are lost, yes you must really do all this :[masked] :-)

Hi, Can't come this Wednesday but very interested. How often are these Wednesday Meetups? Would be good to have some idea of what happens, how in/formal/instructed etc. Danke, Joan

Hi Joan, there's a calendar page on the left and when you click on older events, you will see pictures also. It's not a course, it's not speed dating, we just talk with each other.
Danke Alban, will look forward for the next one....

You're learning German but you don't know anybody to practice with.
You used to speak German but it's all rusty now and you'd like to practice again.
You're new in town and meeting people who speak German just like seems a great idea.
Join us, we meet twice times a month:
- every 2nd Wednesday at The Old King's Head near London Bridge - main event
- every 4th Wednesday at The Mitre near Lancaster Gate and Paddington Station
We also meet on occasion for a picnic, to watch a German film or a football game when German or a German team plays at The Albion in West Kensington.
The venues and dates might change on occasion as we try new things and some people manage to book our usual haunts before I do.
See you soon, bis bald,
