How to get to the Harcourt Arms (Marylebone)

Hi guys,

This venue is ideal if you live North or West London. Marylebone and Paddington stations are around the corner, Euston, St Pancras and King's Cross are all easy to reach without having to go through Central London. South-West Londonders can also make it, the District line from Wimbledon terminates at Edgware Road without going through Central London!

The address is:

The Harcourt Arms
32 Harcourt Street
Marylebone
London W1H 4HX

The pub is located in the heart of Little Stockholm, an area of Marylebone where many Swedish institutions, shops and one pub are located. The Swedish Embassy is nearby, the Swedish Church and the Harcourt Arms are in the same street. The Harcourt Arms is a Swedish pub with Swedish food on the menu. Perhaps the Swedish Chef works there also. I recommend the k├Âttbullar, Swedish meatballs.

How to get there:

  • By tube - Exit at Edgware Road

    • Circle
    • District
    • Hammersmith and City
    • Bakerloo - different exit

If you came with the Circle, District or Hammersmith and City Line, you will be able to take the Chapel Street exit.

    • Exit the tube station and turn left into Chapel Street
    • Keep walking until you reach Old Maylebone Road, walk across
    • Turn left and the first street on your right is Harcourt Street where the pub is
    • Walk past the Swedish Church on your left, the street bends to the left, the pub is right in the bend to your right

Now, if you came from the Bakerloo line, it's a different exit a little further away.

    • Exit the tube station and turn left into Marylebone Road
    • Walk across Cosway Street, keep walking until the next crossroads
    • To your left, it's Lisson Grove and to the right, Seymour Place
    • Turn into Seymour Place, stay on the right hand side of the street and keep walking
    • Harcourt Street should be the first street on your left

  • By train

    • From Paddington Station, take the Circle, District or Hammersmith and City Line and follow the instructions above for the Chapel Street exit
    • From Marylebone Station, take bus 18 stop P towards Sudbury, stop at Old Marylebone Road and follow instructions above for the Chapel Street exit but from the point where you are on Old Marylebone Road
    • From Euston, St Pancras or King's Cross, the Circle and Hammersmith and City lines to Edgware road should do the trick, please read the instructions for the Chapel St exit above
