The Berkeley Poetry Slam

On July 31st, after being away for two years in Austin, Texas, we welcome home former Berkeley Grand Slam champion and Write Bloody author, Jason Bayani! This night will be the official West Coast launch for his new book, Amulet.

Come see why Bayani was named one of the best poets ever heard in the most recent issue of Poets and Writers magazine!

Let's also welcome back poet, columnist, and local favorite, Thadra Sheridan, who will be your guest host for the night, with live improv jazz from the best backing band in spoken word, Three Blind Mice,
