Homebeat & UpStart Present Fading Light at Granby Park

FREE ADMISSION

Join us for Granby Park’s first public music concert! This very special afternoon concert will feature lush performances by a collection of musical acts who are currently lighting up the Irish music scene.

Organised in collaboration with Homebeat, this concert will shine a light on the quality musical talents you can expect to see at Fading Light festival in Co. Kerry this October.

Bands:

SFUMATO are a musical collective with a pastoral, indie-folk sound, fronted by vocalist Daithí Ó hÉignigh. Sfumato’s debut album These Things Between was released in 2012.

OCHO are an electronic duo from Dublin, their debut album Young Hunting was released in May 2012 to widespread acclaim -and has seen them perform on Other Voices.

BIGGLES FLYS AGAIN produce intelligent, wistful indie pop from the mind of Conor Deasy. Biggles’ classic summery riffs leave your head bobbing  and your spirits lifted after each listen.

ANA GOG’s distinctive sound is one forged over countless performances together where their diverse influences have been distilled into a captivating whole. The subtle, song-centred ease of folk music blends with the elemental energy of post-rock.

LITTLE XS FOR EYES are summer sunshine distilled into a fizzy cocktail of delicious riffs, punchy choruses, killer hooks and a wistful sense of the extra ordinary. Fun guitar pop at it’s very best.

Fading Light:

Fading Light is a weekend celebration of music, art, poetry, talks, walks, surf, yoga, food & (most importantly) creamypintsbythesea.
Situated in and around the beautiful surrounds of Caherdaniel, Co. Kerry – Fading Light wraps the last Bank Holiday of the year in it’s autumnal shroud and invites you to celebrate all that is good in life with friends old and new.
