We're all buzzing after Electric Picnic, but not content to let the grass grow under our feet we present our September line-up to you.....featuring New Valley Wolves, A Band Called Boy, Handsome Handsome, as well as an acoustic opener from Cian and Jack.
New Valley Wolves
We are delighted to welcome back this amazing 2-piece Chew Your Own Fat label act, who have been playing festivals throughout the summer and are really making waves on the Irish scene.
Jonny Lucey has a barbaric love of blues guitar, and an obsession with distortion. His interests include leather jackets, not-thinking things through and growing deadly beards.
Baz Joyce was/is and always will be a drummer, a rhythm-maker and bass-drum breaker. If it makes a sound Baz WILL bang it!! Once in a blue moon a drummer comes along that can shake the bones of your body and lay a voodoo curse across your feet.

From Belfast, fellow Chew Your Own Fat label artists ABandCalledBoy tick all the 3-piece post-grunge boxes; loud, passionate, energetic, melodic, distorted (see pic below) and have been appearing in all the right places in the recent past. Now they grace the stage of Gypsy Rose, ready to raise the roof, which is no mean feat for a basement venue!
They have been featured on BBC 6 Music 'Introducing with Tom Robinson', BBC Radio 1 on the ‘Introducing show with Phil Taggart’, BBC Radio Ulster’s ‘Across the Line’ and have shared a stage with bands including: Rolo Tomassi, The Futureheads, And So I Watch You From Afar, LaFaro and Fighting With Wire.

"These three lads put on probably the best live show we have seen from a new band ever. Exhilarating, dangerous and downright entertaining. " - ALL GONE POP
"...uncompromising live presence with fearless youth energy bolstered by the kind of raw noise that wouldn’t sound out of place on an Albini-recorded Sub Pop compilation." - LIVE4EVER, DANIEL ROBINSON
We saw the doubled moniker positively physically attractive act recently and instantly wanted them to play a Gigonometry gig and here they are!
We are Handsome Handsome. We sing and make sound and make music. Once described as 'Creepy Fun' and 'Ambient/Folk/Doom/Pop' our songs seem to experience mood swings that confuse reviewers. We enjoy this fact. Our influences and styles are diverse and far reaching.

Cian & Jack
Up and coming 2-piece duo consisting of one guitar and two lads who can just about manage to sing (their words, not ours!), Cian and Jack are still in the very early stages of their music venture and have been playing and writing music together for most of the past year. Jack began busking around Dublin in 2011. After a while Cian joined in and they decided to take it to the next level. Before long they were joining the Hot House Flowers in Whelans, they even opened for Liam and Ronan O'Snodaigh in Whelans in June just ahead of a support slot for The Henry Girls at Roots Van Han in Zaandam, Holland. They followed that with a second support slot with The Henry Girls at The Mermaid Arts Centre in Bray in July. Each time they've recieved rave reviews and high praise for their eclectic mix of covers interspersed with their own songs. Their rich harmonies, sweet vocals and masterful guitar playing will be the perfect opening for Gigonometry.
