The November Gigonometry Gathering and Showcase gig!!

What a line-up!! How do we do it? We're not entirely sure ourselves but it's happening......
The Quicksand Band, The Kartels, The Cold 100 and Shove; all in the one room, especially for you!!

Drawing on influences from right across the rock genre, from their blues influenced ballads to their distortion drivin' indie tunes, The Kartels have built a reputation as one of Dublin's hardest working bands. Starting off playing the smaller venues of Dublin such as The Hub and Eamonn Dorans,they've quickly moved on to bigger venues of Dublin such as The Academy, Whelans and The Village.

The Cold 100
The Cold 100 play psychedelic electric blues. Groove and feeling drives the music of The Cold 100, making their live shows unlike anything you’re likely to see around today. Their live reputation precedes them - they’re not to be missed.
The sound of The Cold 100 is a mixture of Chicago electric blues, and the grooviest rock ‘n roll of the late 60s & early 70s - there’s fuzz tones, wailing harmonica and volume, held together with a heavy, soulful rhythm. Greasy rock n' roll flows from the core of The Cold 100, with a seething undercurrent of the blues nestling underneath.

Shove
Hailing from Dublin, Shove create an explosive and energetic sound of contemporary rock music set against a backdrop of eclectic musical influences. Formed in 2006, the band have steadily built up a solid fan base whilst also impressing music industry types along the way!!

It's getting close and I'm SO looking forward to this gig!! Proceedings kick off shortly after 8pm with an acoustic swampy blues rock set from the excellent The Cold 100 so make sure to get there for that. The Quicksand Band will grace the stage next, then Shove play a pre-Whelans slot especially for us before The Kartels rock out the night. My number is [masked], but just come on in and we'll all be there.
Oh, it's in the basement so just make your way through the beards and tattoos to the end of the bar and we're down the stairs!! Looking forward to seeing new faces as well as old friends. :)November 20
