Helen Fielding because her writing style is funny and witty and she managed to capture the mindset of women across broad age span so well.
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn... OMG so wicked, so shocking and so so funny. - this is a recent favourite I have read it a few of times and it still has the same effect.
The Husbands Secret by Laine Moriarity - it will make a brilliant book for discussion and is bound to split the room into many segments
