WINTER SOLSTICE PARTY

We will be having a White Elephant gift exchange, door prizes, good food, good company, good time. I will provide the meats, cheeses, & shrimp cocktail, & non-alcoholic beverages. Please bring a finger food or munchies & your choice of adult beverage.
Some suggestions for "your' white elephant: anything that has outgrown its usefulness, it's taking up valuable space in your home, or you are just tired of looking at it. It can be naughty or nice. NOT appropriate would be: small children, teenagers, pets. Please take those to your own family get togethers.
We'll start to congregate around 6:30 & the gift exchange can take place after we've had food & drink.
One lucky person could win the BIG door prize.
The address is 3142 D 3/4 RD. Please call[masked] if you need directions.
Hope to see you next Saturday!
Carol
A song of joy!

This will be an every week event. Bring your single friends. We just want to get together and have some fun. We will have different events each week--from,,, volley ball, cards, board games, bon-fires, hot tubs, drawings, mystery clues (Personal / meeting games), horse shoes, yard games so, so many things (and always open for ideas and suggestions). Some of these may be cancelled because of a bigger event or a weekend event, so always watch the calendar. Locations will vary and the address for the event each week will go out to those that have RSVP'd only, at 12-noon each Sat. These weekly events will be a great event to meet other singles, find out what going on in the area and to just have some fun with friends while kicking back----hope to see you there.

Not sure how you play a white elephant gift game.. but in my family we had a twist to it: Chinese White Elephant game.. say you have 10 people you draw numbers out of a hat and the #1 goes to the tree gets a gift and opens it.. then #2 etc till everyone is done and has an open gift... then the twist is # 1 can take anything they want from anyone else.. and then #2 and so on till the end # 10 will end up being the only one that gets the final choice.. it is so funny how one or two gifts can make the rounds ... and you can't hide what you get .. lol it is a lot of fun and it gets everyone going :) If you want we can try that ..

Thank you for that reminder. I usually assign the elves the responsibility of cleaning up after the reindeer. Maybe this year the elves will get a gift fm Poop 'n Scoop.

This sounds like a great party.. Now remember and keep in mind that Christmas elfs are going to be cleaning and preping for a party and it is a lot of work and expense and when you put your heart into events like this it is a great idea to make sure that you RSVP and if you cancel let the Santa Host know...call them as they might be too busy to check emails all the time, this way they can plan accordingly. Consideration is key to having a great time.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
