Announcing a new Meetup for Glass Half Full!

What: Grape Stomp at Festa Italiana!!!

When: Friday, August 27,[masked]:00 PM
Where: Pioneer Courthouse Square SW 6th Ave Portland, OR 97201

NOTE: This is a NO FLAKE event. We're forming teams and if you don't show, that means we'll be short.
So if you're not[masked]% sure you're going to be able to make it, don't sign up.

This is a free competition, so the only thing you're risking is, well, honestly, your dignity...

Join me as I defend my title as champion grape stomping team in Portland!!
Yeah, that's me in the middle of the picture. We, ahem, crushed 'em last year... ;-)))

Yes, you'll have to sign a liability waiver and all that stuff.

What to Wear: Comfortable clothing you don't mind getting a little sticky in. Yes, this will be in bare feet, so panty hose are probably right out... ;-)) Shorts, and sandals would be good, too. You'll be stomping barefoot, but sandals just seems easier than socks over freshly washed feet.

Oh, and, no, you don't get purple feet.

Prizes: Generally it's just bragging rights. But the winners may also get Festa Italiana T-shirts and maybe a bottle of wine.

NOTE: This is all in good fun. So if you're looking for Olympic style drug testing, no "enhanced stomping" techniques, and rigidly controlled rules, this probably isn't your event. Yeah, there's a little bending of the 'rules'.... ;-))

Last, no, I am not associated with Festa Italiana. It's just a great celebration and fun event. So even if you're not able to come down at Noon on Friday, stop on down sometime this weekend and celebrate being Italian for a day!!
