Moved to NVA last August ...... and visited places around DC much when I lived further away.
I'm interested in it all.
Anything with a little cultural....
Meetups I've been to in different cities (over a few years) do not come close to the environment that Nejla primes and creates, seemingly effortlessly. Her abilities to plan, organize, and induce a feeling of comfort and friendliness is how I think all Meetups should be.
Glad I met you, you're a cool guy. Sorry I had to rush out like I did!
Thanks for beginning your adventure w/ DC Global Adventurers!! Like you, I love learning about all kinds of places.
We have lots of great events coming up in January at http://www.DCadventurers.com to get outside, see new perspectives and make new friends. I hope to see you at an event soon!
P.S. If you’re thinking about joining our March trip to Morocco, I encourage you to attend the One Night in Casablanca dinner on Jan 19 to learn more about the trip.
Hey Arul! Welcome to D-M-V Dinner & A Movie! Can't wait to see you out with us so we can chop it up and get to know you better. Be good and we'll see you when it's Time 2 Movie!
It was nice of you to share your experiences with us.
Arul, you have all of these other folks hoodwinked (or bamboozaled) into what a wonderful guy you are. I guess I'm also an Arul believer!! Welcome and hope to sit with you guys at the Metamorpheses show on 1/22/09.
Hi Arul, it was cool bumping in to you and the family at the co-op art's festival last month. Ha, I'm just reading you other shouts, now I'm trying to picture you and Deena singing "Lola". Take care.
Arul is very open, friendly and seems to be able to really understand people at a core level. I enjoyed meeting Arul at the Pittsburgh Buddhist Meet-Up group and really enjoyed his subtle sense of humor.
