Hello Gluggers,

We have another Glug fast approaching and we know you will be as excited as we are about this one and its location!

Hosted by Crush and Agency Rush, Glug will be held at the incredible Circus Street Market on Friday 18th July. This vast warehouse space used to be the old fruit and veg market. A big thanks goes to Cathedral Group (Holdings) Ltd and McLaren who are letting us hold Glug here. It's an exciting time for Circus Street Market, as potentially it could be  transformed into a new vibrant quarter of the city and a hub for the creative community.

Glug is for all you creative types, bringing people

from far and wide for a few drinks and a natter. If you happen to be a student or an industry pro with a passion for design, illustration, photography, 3d sets or the digital world we would love you to join us. This is not some dry business card swapping networking event oh no! This is about like minded people being inspired by amazing creative talks, live art, interactive fun and having a drink or two.

Tickets are priced at a very reasonable £7.00, so why not start your weekend creatively? For any newcomers you will need to 'RSVP' and pay for your ticket online to ensure your place.

See you all soon,

Agency Rush & Crush Creative

See this incredible portable 3D body scanning system in action. 3Dify are bringing their latest prototype to Glug to demonstrate what it can do. We've seen this in action and it is truly clever technology. There will be a chance for those who want a 3D figure of themselves to be scanned on the night and then printed after the event, costs start at £55.

First visit, really liked the space and the mood but felt it seemed more social than work oriented, however by Friday eve 'notworking' with beer is perfect … might try and meet more people next time. Liked the talks and took print home (thanks!) - but agree that sound quality was iffy and found the portaloo's v dark later

I was afraid that the roof was going to come down, and the smell.

Enjoyed the talks. My tiny bugbear was that it was hard to hear them clearly over everybody else talking - potentially as a side effect of the cavernous roof and reverberations.
