Here it is Merry Christmas, we're very pleased to announce details of our Glug Christmas Party below.

I have to say I'm genuinely excited about it and convinced this could be our BEST GLUG YET! There's some amazing talent, a super cool venue and some interesting changes to the format. Get your tickets booked straight away, we only have 600 to sell and as always there are extra treats for the first 100 people to buy them! Plus it's for a really good cause, all monies and profits from the event will be going to Barnado's the children's charity.

'Glug London presents - SHOW ME THE MUNNY' a Christmas Special in association with DAHRA (Designers Against Human Rights Abuse)

On Tuesday the 15th of December, we take over the very cool and newly opened BOOK CLUB (http://www.wearetbc.c...) in Shoreditch. From 6pm, we'll be welcoming you with mulled wine, minced pies and trendy Christmas carols outside in the street. Plus lots of very naff/nice Christmas decor.

THE TALKS

At 7.30pm we'll be starting proceedings with a series of short Pecha Kucha style talks. Full lineup to be confirmed but our first speaker is design legend:

Auction rules will be announced nearer the time, but everyone can get involved, help raise some money for a good cause and possibly walk away with a fantastic one off design piece. We'll be showcasing the dolls on the Glug blog, on the DAHRA play create blog and on Form55 before the event. We've even managed to get a Sotheby's auctioneer to liven up the proceedings!

FRAMED PRINTS

A2 & A1 Framed prints will be available to buy on the night and displayed throughout the venue created by some of the artists listed above. Again we'll be teasing these prints out via the blog and through various online press.

MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT

Then from 8.30 we'll have various bands and live music performing upstairs and also we welcome back DJ Jsquared from the Breakin Bread show downstairs. There's also ping pong and pool.

FOOD & DRINK

Thanks to our friends at Digital Gurus, we'll be giving away 100 free drinks tokens for those early birds. The bar is open until 12pm. We'll also be putting on a free Christmas finger buffet for you, sausage on sticks, chicken dippers, cheese and pineapple etc, etc
