Hi,
We just wanted to let you know that we’ve now confirmed a date and venue for the May event. This will be at our new Summer home for 2010 @ Cargo in Shoreditch. Hopefully a really good fit for us as it offers a brilliant outside bbq area, a great bar but also more importantly a nice space to do the talks properly.
The date for this is going to be the Thursday 20th May which is pretty soon! Having said that we’re really happy to be back on a Thursday (much better for after work drinks than these Tuesday/Wednesday events!)

As Cargo has two supersonically awesome big screens to use when the talks aren’t on we thought it would be nice to promote/show off some of your work. Please send us your showreel and we’ll be picking the best ones to show on the night. To do this please email [masked] - please don’t send massive files, links to work online is preferred.
Or feel free bring along some stuff on a USB stick on the night as we’ll be allocating some time to show random bits of work too.

As always we’ll be adding extra bits to the lineup in the next few weeks but please get your tickets quickly. The last event sold out with a week to go and it’s never nice to be saying to people they can’t come along.

I thought the event was great, but you should definitely warn the speakers that they will find themselves talking to a mainly drunk, chattering audience, which can throw off the best of public speakers. That said, the talks were great.
