Hi Gluggers,

These days everyone wants a viral, right? Marketing managers up and down the country are now looking for the creative agency with a magic wand to turn their relatively small number of pounds into millions of eyeballs.

Well, we're not sure about magic wands but if you're looking for viral magic then you should probably talk to The Viral Factory, the hosts of this months Glug.

http://www.theviralfactory.com/

We also think one simple statistic helps to summarise their work = 1.5 billion views.

Nice.

Talks were OK but it would have been useful to see more commercial examples of viral work.

Glug is now a regular event for me. Last night (29th Sept) was my second one and it was ace. The choice of speakers is brilliant, the work is exceptional and it's a nice crowd of people. Well done to Ian, Gemma & Nick on organising another top notch night.

Great meeting fun and varied people from different professions. Some of the speakers were better than others.

Very disappointed with the presentations. Too much about 'look at me - I'm a creative and I'm cool'. Not very insightful and was expecting a lot more. Will not be attending again.

TomSka and Joel Veitch were both grand! As expected. But the Opnuu presentation was very out of place, sorry but its a design event not a business pitch. Very irreverent to 90% of the audience. Also loose the chairs! It stagnates the room if you get one you don't get up and network and if you don't you miss the talks. No chairs = more people see "something", more people interacts, more people get to the bar = More happy gluggers.

Difficult to compete with UsTwos line up, third speaker, the useless omelette maker was great!

Some of the talks were completely useless and not on topic at all. I don't need someone to 'pitch the Internet' to me and tell me how wonderful it is to be able to work with people virtually (something we have been able to do now for at least 2 decades). I also expected to see more videos, how they were made, the thinking process behind them, stats on performance, next steps, etc.

A bit disappointed with the format of the presentations and the overall space, really overbooked (crowded), but most people seemed fine with it, so I could just chalk it up to expectations as this was my first Glug event.

Not a lot of people really...and apart from the talks there where not much to do. Everyone left early. Well they should have keep one of the talks for later on the evening. So you have to stick around and socialise no? Great DJ by the way.

It's unbelievable! Got here on time for vouchers... But the person in front of me took the last burger so they offer beer which I can't drink....and can't change for a coke or any other drink! Very frustrated!
