Glug London presents - A Beautiful Summer (Notworking tickets)

  • May 24, 2012 · 6:00 PM

Hello Gluggers,

It's time to announce the full details of our wonderful, "Beautiful Summer" event at Cargo on Thursday the 24th May - hopefully by which time the sun will be shining and we can all kick back on the terrace and enjoy a few beers and an amazing line up of live art and illustrators!

Not only that, but we're also going to have Summer Fete style pop up shops, so artists will also be selling some of their A2 prints, for you to buy at a knockdown price of £5 each. It's like a very cool, poster sale, but with some of London's coolest illustrators and artists :-)

Also thanks to our sponsor Source (http://www.wearesource.co.uk) who have kindly paid for all costs of producing these super cool prints, all of the money taken will be going to our chosen charity The James Baldwin Trust (http://www.thejamesbaldwintrust.org.uk/).

As with all events we'll be offering a free beer or burger to the first 300 people through the door. Tickets for the notworking part of this event are available here for £4 (only 300 priced):

In addition, as well as various other entertainment, fun and notworking gimics, Source are also running a competition to win the full set of 10 Ltd Edition, signed A2 prints. 3 of these prizes will be available through our raffle.

As you may now be aware all the tickets for the Talks part of the event are now sold out, but don't let that put you off. When it's sunshine and drinks outside, they'll all be jealous stuck in side the room!

Hope you can make it along!

I know it's not very 'designer' but i think pushing people to wear the stickers/badges more would make it a lot easier to mingle. Just a small thing but very enjoyable and nice crowd

Jolly good show glug! Will definitely go again. Met a few new faces and got a live screened t-shirt by the good chaps from waste studio. All round good evening. Hopefully try and attend the talks next time.

'Notworking' (networking) was just an unstructured mingling event. Normally you do not have to pay for these. Effectively I paid £4 for a small can of lukewarm Heineken

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
