THIS SUNDAY London Escapes are doing a day trip 'Shingles Pebbles and Sand Dunes at Dungeness' with a visit to the mysterious Acoustic Mirrors (featured on BBC2 Coast series). They're giant military listening devices - used in the late 1920s before radar came along. Normally closed to the public but we will join Dr Richard Scarth on a talk and close up tour!

Wow London...Lived there myself in Hornsey Rise, for a year many moons ago LOL! Do you know Afhra Al Kahira? I met her last summer when we both were teaching at Rocky's weeklong. We both joked about our last names being so similar. She is a beautiful person and dancer. If you know her, please send her my warm wishes. Hope to meet you one day...If you ever come to the USA let me know.
