Would this be a good meetup for an intermediate programmer, or Raspberry Pi mainly for children or beginners? thanks : )

I'd say so. The Raspberry Pi is linux, and therefore can be for the most advanced software developer even though it's commonly marketed towards children. Tonight is definitely a mixed bag. My goal is that a beginner to electronics will be inspired, and that an advanced software developer will see the potential in their own projects, to have code actively interact with their world.

Hello, I'm excited about attending tonight. This is my first GNOCode meeting. Should I bring my computer?

No need to bring it tonight! It generally depends on the presenter. Sometimes they'll have people play along, but you'll be able to get all the information from tonight with a single URL :)
