I wanted to pass along details about tomorrow night's Net2NO. Matt Wisdom, the CEO of Turbosquid, is presenting the Landrieu transition team's review of city hall's IT infrastructure. The presentation is an extended version of his compelling TEDxNOLA talk. I think everyone will find it interesting. Tomorrow night at Le Chat Noir, 6:00 PM with presentation at 7:00 PM.http://www.meetup.com/net2no/calendar/14875241/?a=nr1p_grp&rv=nr1p
The details for this month's meeting are up and on the meetup.com site. Douglas Finley will present on his experience with the Google App platform. Very new territory for our group, so it should be interesting.
In case you didn't know, Harvest the Music is happening right before our October meeting in Lafayette Square. HtM is essentially Wednesday at the Square, but in the Fall. Dr. John and the Treme Brass Band are performing and I encourage everyone to come out and enjoy a little pre-meeting music. Parking may be tough, but Julia St and St. Joseph usually have open spots around then. If you don't want to park, the Street Car has a stop right at Girod a few blocks up from LaunchPad and Lafayette Square. http://www.harvestthemusic.org/
Finally, I wanted to reminder everyone that localsource.it is now live and open to the public. If you are looking for development work, please put your profile up and share with everyone.
