Join OC Vegan Roundtable this month for a presentation by Alex Earl, Executive Director of Project AWARE (http://www.projectaware.org), a movement of scuba divers seeking to protect the planet’s oceans. Alex previously served as a global executive with Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (his brief biography is below).
About OC Vegan Roundtable: We are dedicated to fostering awareness and discussion of issues concerning veganism and animal advocacy in Orange County and the rest of Southern California. We meet monthly for a casual vegan dinner and an open-forum discussion. Meetings start with a speaker, followed by a loosely-structured agenda and a moderator for each issue. Our meetings are guided by principles of non-judgment and non-confrontation.
There is no charge to attend - just pay for your own meal.
Anyone is welcome to attend and either actively participate or simply listen. The discussion of each agenda item is moderated by the person who proposed the item (or by anyone whom that person designates). If you’d like to propose an agenda item, please leave a comment below.
