What's your motivation to use Go?

After years in struggling with decision making what language I would really like to use to build the next big thing (even if I'm not planning a "next big thing"), I gave Go a spontaneous try in a subproject of a two year undertaking. I was productive after three feverish sessions at night and really enjoyed almost everything I found in such a young and officially immature language. TL;DR After three nights of hacking in Go I just felt in love.

What are your expectations from this group?

Meeting other "Go-curious" people so that we all become Go heroes ... not just for one day ;)

I'm a coder by heart. My primary interests are VHLLs, system architecture and the social aspects of software development.
