Go Developer Presentation

Francesc Campoy Flores, originally a software engineer from Barcelona, is the latest addition to the Go Developer Relations team at Google. For more information visit his Google+ page

And a description of the talk:

Web back-end languages tend to be a matter of "Speed, reliability, or simplicity: pick one." Not any more. The Go Programming Language is a rock-solid, productive, and high-performance platform for building web applications (and other types of software). Join us for an entertaining, in-depth look at the development and deployment of a Go web application using some of the Google services.

I now work at Amazon, so I'm going to bring a few colleagues who are language nerds ... Looking forward to the talk.

Just a reminder that we are meeting tomorrow at 5-7pm.

The conference room is on the first floor, sign in at front desk... there will be signs leading to conference room, and someone will be checking the front door.

I'm coordinating some food and beverages, please let me know if you have any dietary restrictions I should be aware of... I'll try to accomodate as much as possible.

I've set the time from 5pm-7pm. I may tweak it closer to the date, just trying to juggle a bunch of people's schedules.

I suspect we'll give some buffer for people to arrive.
