Introduction
I moved to the Gold Coast from Sydney in 2009. I would like to make new friends here. I am a fun loving and easy going person.
why would you like to join this group
I would like to meet positive minded women of my age. I am in a happy relationship with a man, but I think it is very important to have women friends too for good quality times. I am relatively new on the Gold Coast, so I still don't have a big social circle.
Do day time or evenings suit you better
Daytime on weekends, and evenings on work days would suit me best.
what are your interests
Literature, theatre, film, arts, music, dancing, food, exercise, outings, health - and... what not?
A profile photo of yourself. No animals, sculptures, flowers. Ask yourself will the organiser be able to recognise you when you attend an event.

Hi Maria,
I didn't realize that the Kuta Cafe doesn't take reservations but the Summit restaurant next to the Kuta Cafe should take reservations. I don't live in the Brisbane CBD any more but if you would like to meet for a coffee within the CBD, the Yi cafe on Edward can be a good choice too. It's right next to the Botanic Garden. Cheers. -

If a meet-up is held in Brisbane, Sunnybank would be a good spot. Depending on what we are after (Over dinner? Coffee? or any other settings?) I could recommend a few places for the event. Generally within Sunnybank Plaza (Shopping Centre) or Sunny Park Shopping Centre will be convenient for most goers as there is heaps of carparking space, and they are also accessible by public transport.

I personally like Mt Cootha Kuta Cafe a lot. They have quite a nice view and the coffee is good. :-)
