MongoDB for Node.js Study Group

I'm going to be doing this free online course with Mongo University in October:

I was enrolled in their last course but didn't keep up with it because of work commitments so would like to do it the next time around.

Would anyone like to join me in a study group working together through the material and giving each other moral support?

Note: There is a commitment of about 5 hours a week to do this course - my proposal is to have this meetup as a bit of a drop-in, not necessarily where we watch all the coureware.

(this meetup moved from the gctechspace meetup to here. I've also moved it to Wednesday as the new material comes out on Mondays US time and we'll need a bit of time to look at the courseware before meeting)

Did you guys check if the findOne method returns an empty array or null if it fails to find a result? I which case we need to pass an error object back informing incorrect username?

It returns null and getting null[0] throws an error so better catch it

That's weird, I would have thought they would pass back an empty array. Thanks Chris

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
