I would like to introduce you to a wonderful group of people that make up a group called San Diego Golden Retriever Meetup Group.

This group began just about five years ago, with 2 members attending the meetings, and we currently have over 925 members, from throughout San Diego County. We are always growing in size.


We meet a minimum of once a month, usually with 30 to 40 Goldens Retrievers in attendance, at different dog parks and dog friendly beaches around the county. In additional to our regular scheduled park and beach trips we are always trying to come up with other new fun activities to participate in with the group.

Some of our many "Golden Only" activities so far have included an Agility day, a Kayaking day, a dock dog day, and a still water swim day, Flyball Exhibition and Costume contest. We also participate in fund raising events for various animal organizations such as Helen Woodward's San Diego Pet Day on the Bay, the San Diego Humane Society's annual San Diego Walk for Animals and the Wags for Wishes.
