Social Enterprise Cofounder Match Night

Goodnik is partnering with CoFoundersLab to put on our first-ever social enterprise cofounder match night. Come to the event and you might find a partner who shares your passion and vision for social change, and who has the skills you don't have to make that vision a reality.

The purpose of this event is to help you find a co-founder for your social enterprise or nonprofit, or help you find an organization to join as a co-founder. In the mean time, you should get started networking with potential co-founders by creating a free profile on

To make the most of your time, please browse and filter by “Co-Founders Wanted - New York City - Meetup” before attending. If you have not created a profile on or added Co-Founders Wanted of New York City to your profile, please note that this is required in order for people to discover you before the event and seek you out during the networking portion of the event.

In addition to browsing, please post a short description under "join the conversation!" about your company and what you are looking for, so that members up this Meetup have a better idea of who to look for at the event. Don't forget to include your CoFoundersLab profile URL.

Please note that we are charging $10 in advance for this Meetup in order to cover food/drinks cost and to maintain a high level of quality for our members. Price will be $20 at the door so please register early.

Pizza and light refreshments will be served. Interested in sponsoring this event? Please contact [masked].

Attend this event for free! Have you upgraded your CoFoundersLab profile to Pro Membership? A perk of being a Pro Member is free admission to this event. Once you've upgraded, simply click here to request a Complementary Admission ticket.

This event is being graciously hosted by Grind at their brand-new location at 1412 Broadway at 39th St. Big thanks to Grind for their support of this event and the Goodnik in Residence program.

This meetup just did not work out. I represented my social enterprise startup seeking talent that I am sure good inks has access to. I was there from 6:30-7:45 and there was not even time in the format to be introduced to group and describe the candidate we are seeking. Is there another way we could post online to goodnik community? Thanks

I'm sorry you feel that way. The format did allow for individuals to present themselves and their needs, though we did have to break up in to subgroups to accommodate the numbers of people we had. I will take your feedback into consideration when designing the next cofounder match event. In the meantime, I recommend you use cofounder lab to find good people to connect with.

Hi Amy, Sorry to hear that this event wasn't a fit for you. We want to help out with your search the best we can. Be sure to check out In the advanced search you can filter by industry according to what you're looking for. We also have Co-Founders Wanted events that may help you find someone if it's not Social Enterprise specific.

Love this idea! Doing a startup to help promote science and technology related fields and careers to young girls (before middle school), through fiction. Looking for interested parties/ organizations.
