SPEND YOUR SUMMER FRIDAY DOING GOOD (and having a good ol' time)!!
The Amplify Good “Summer Friday Takeover” is a half-day event that provides professionals from Marketing, PR and related fields (“Amplifiers”) the opportunity to use their skills to do good, and gives socially conscious startups, small businesses and nonprofits the “amplification” help they need.
You can participate in one of two ways;
1) if you're a marketing professional, you can be an Amplifier to help a social enterprise.
2) if you're a nonprofit or for-profit social enterprise, you can bring your "amplification" challenges and put the minds of professionals to work.
All you have to do is register through Eventbrite and follow the quick instructions to apply:

12:30-1:00 OPTIONAL session for Purposepreneurs to flesh out their immediate and longer-term strategic needs
1:00-1:30 Meet, greet, have some nibbles
1:30-1:50 Welcome + “Purposepreneurs” give their pitches: what they do, why they do it, and where they need help
1:50-2:00 Scramble to join a small team with one of the founders you most want to help amplify (you’ll have to hustle – no more than 3 Amplifiers per huddle!)
2:00-3:15 Brainstorm - have at it!
3:15-3:30 Change groups and find a new founder
3:30-4:45 Brainstorm #2 - rock those ideas!
4:45-5:30 Group share back and Q&A
5:30-6:30 Chat, chew and cheers (in other words, cocktail time!)
