New Meetup: Find the Big Fish: Researching Donors and Foundations Online

Announcing a new Meetup for GrassrootsCamp!

What: Find the Big Fish: Online Tools for Finding and Researching Donors and Foundations Online

When: Monday, October 4,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Botanica
47 E Houston St
New York, NY 10009
(212)[masked]

Want money? Find donors. The bigger the better. While small online donors are all the rage in progressive circles, it's still the big fish that most nonprofits and candidates are chasing. This is the event where we show you how to find the big fish.

Join George Ford of the Foundation Center and political fundraiser Mary Bruch for this special event.

On the agenda:
? A live tour of Foundation Directory Online, a powerful resource for nonprofit development directors.
? Tips about grant researching resources available to non-profits for free, right here in New York City.
? Learn to navigate publicly available, online sources of information on donors to candidates and PACs.
? Network and exchange anecdotes with fellow members of the Organizing 2.0 and GrassrootsCamp community.
? Drink specials from our friends at Botanica.

*Special bonus: All attendees who register will get a gift card containing a free trial subscription to Foundation Directory Online.

As usual, we'll start at 6:00pm, give a half hour to grab a drink, network and get settled, then begin the presentation promptly at 6:30pm. The formal presentation will end by 7:30pm.
