I'm curious how malleable WP is to branding. Besides just placing your logo on the website, are their specific templates/themes that need to be used to brand social media icons? Also color palattes and fonts...are their themes that have a better variety? Am I moving out of the free Word Press zone with these inquiries? Thanks!

Most themes have at least some options for carrying the brand. Aside from logo, usually one can adjust colors pretty easily - check the theme options panel to see what can be done "out of the box". If you find a theme that you like but it doesn't have all the options you want, you can usually find a wordpress developer to adjust the templates with an hour or two of work.
