We had an interesting meetup yesterday (Thursday, 10thJan2013)

For me the most interesting part was on Immigration (migrant workers). Anyone should be allowed to work in Britain from abroad. A relatively small adjustment to the economic system would turn this into mutual advantage.

The adjustment would consist of every British citizen would be given a guaranteed income so that **loss of jobs to immigrants would not mean loss of a living income**.

There was a economic argument supporting this change:
Freedom of Capital to work anywhere in the world **must be balanced by the like freedom of Labour**.

Without this balance, every developing nation will become sweatshops to service a diminishing minority of hyper-Oligarchs.
