two suggestions... (1) google is missing a marketing opportunity during the hour before the talks: the screens used for the presentations could be displaying interesting, dynamic content rather than laying idle. (2) it would be good to temper expectations regarding the technical level to be presented. i am a developer, but found myself sitting next to someone who had absolutely no technical background; rather, this person was there only because of a general interest in google. the talk, therefore, was way over this person's head. given that there are always hundreds of other people interested in attending, it seemed a shame that this individual took someone else's slot. i realize you can't vet attendees, but it might help to explicitly state the intended audience for these talks. cheers.
