With all of us being on the bleeding edge of this first true social networking medium there seems like is a lot of interesting applications it could be used for.
I think it would be great to have some question and answer between developers, community groups that would like to use Google+ to help build local connections, regular users and any other movers and shakers in the Google+ Scene to try to flesh out some of the unknowns about it while everyone is still in the trial stage of all of this.
Was originally trying to just "suggest" this idea of a Meetup to the Google Tech Talks Group, and with such overwhelming response thought it might be best to start it up as it's own Meetup. So if you signed up there before, signup here now, even if you can't make this first Meetup.
Feel free to post you profile (or don't if you want to be more private) on the discussion boards along with any questions you might have. We can work to find the answers (or the answerers) together. Or if you have an idea for a feature put it up there too so we can compile a big list to submit to Google together and find strength in numbers.
The first Meeting I'm thinking we should try to ask these basic questions and then see where we want to go in the future:
What sorts of uses have you found for Google+ So Far?
What would you like to do once the API comes out?
What are some features you LOVE in Google+? Hate? Wish were being added?
Anybody you'd like to come to talk at this or a future Meetup?
Any type of person we should be reaching out for more (ie developers, people in business, people who are famous in tech blogging)?
Any Groups we should partner with?
If you'd like to help organize, or have any contacts contact me via my Google Profile, and add me to a circle!
