Thanks to everyone for joining me on this great walk. Amazing that it was t-Shirt weather given the snow and sleet the previous day. Spectacular views and great company. I look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Given this http://au.news.yahoo.com/nsw/galleries/g/15101258/nsw-blanketed-in-spring-snow/15102821/ should I be bringing skiing gear instead of hiking gear?

Hey Sean, had the flu all week. If it's raining and cold I'll have to give Sat a miss. Sun is suppose to be sunny. GG

    October 11, 2012

    • sean

No worries GG. The sun is meant to be out in the mountains on Saturday too though. Take a look out the window in the morning and make a call then. Hopefully your flu is long gone!

The weather forecast is looking good for Saturday (but not for Friday). This walk will go ahead rain or shine. I'm optimistic the sun will be out, but suggest you bring a rain coat just in case!

Hi Sean, based on your past experiences, how long will be the duration to finish this walk for average speed walkers? And can I and my girlfriend bought our lunch in the train?..sorry, newcomers for Sydney, Blue Mt, and intra state trains..:)..Thanks

    October 11, 2012

    • sean

Hi Lyn. Normally this walk is about 3 hours, but we'll have a large group so I reckon probably 4 hours for this trip. Should be no problem to eat on the train!

    the more the merrier....

    • sean

Hi Theresia. Because this is part of the Blue Mountains Festival of Walking, and it's advertised in a few different spots, there might be even more than 76! Should be a great day out, and it will definitely be a big group.

Hi Sean, For those of us who may be driving and would have our cars parked at W/Falls train station, do we return to W/Falls train station? Just trying to work out whether it would be best to drive or catch a train. Thanks in advance.

    • sean

Thanks Kanelli! If you do drive, still park at Wentworh Falls train station. We finish the walk at Leura Golf club, but I've arranged for their shuttle bus to take us all back to the Station at regular intervals, depending on how long folks want to stay for a drink afterwards.
